Dholera International Airport
The Dholera International Airport, located at Navagam village near Ahmedabad, Gujarat, is a major greenfield project being developed by Dholera International Airport Company Ltd. (DIACL). Positioned within the Dholera Special Investment Region (DSIR), part of the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC), the airport is set to become a key infrastructure asset driving the region’s growth.
The project is being developed in multiple phases, with Phase 1 set to handle 1.5 million passengers annually upon its expected completion in 2026. The final phase will expand the airport's capacity to 50 million passengers per year, making it a major aviation hub.
The airport will feature two runways — 3200 m and 4000 m long — designed to accommodate both passenger and cargo flights. In addition, a dedicated aerocity spanning 75 hectares will support commercial development, including cargo facilities, hotels, and offices.
Strategically located, the Dholera International Airport will serve as a logistics and passenger hub, enhancing connectivity and facilitating business growth in the region. This airport is expected to play a vital role in positioning Dholera SIR as a leading economic and industrial destination, attracting investments and boosting regional economic activity.
