Dholera City- Development Status
The Activation Zone in the Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR) is a 22.5 sq km area strategically prioritized for early-stage development to ignite the growth of the city. Located within Town Planning Schemes (TP) 2A and TP 4, this zone is set to become a key catalyst for the overall development of Dholera SIR.
The Activation Zone is equipped with essential infrastructure, including 72 km of roads, with widths ranging from 12m to 70m, designed to efficiently support the movement of both people and goods. This well-planned infrastructure ensures seamless connectivity and paves the way for future development.
This area was selected for its immediate land availability and its potential to attract early investments, helping set the stage for long-term growth. Once fully developed, the Activation Zone will support a residential population of 1.2 lakh and create 80,000 jobs, acting as a significant economic driver for the region.
By focusing development in this zone, Dholera SIR aims to unlock major investment opportunities, making it a focal point for businesses, industries, and residents. The Activation Zone is expected to trigger further investment across the region, accelerating Dholera’s transformation into a thriving economic hub within the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC).
